Okey F. Cubbage Funeral Service

Funeral services were held on Saturday, March 18, 1967 at 1:30 p.m. at the Hatfield Funeral Home, Coldwater, Kans., for Okey Fred Cubbage, 61, of Protection. Rev. Floyd S. McCague was in charge of the services. Mr. and Mrs. Don Herron sang "God's Tomorrow" accompanied by Mrs. Zella Shrauner. Pallbearers were Roy Herman, Glenn Smalley, Buss Petty, Waldo Riner, Oren Barnes, and Joy Hendrix. Interment was in Paruna Cemetery, Paruna, Okla.

Obituary.

Okey Fred Cubbage was born July 7, 1905, at Manchester, Okla., and came to Protection from Paruna, Okla., in 1920. He was a former marshall of Protection. He was a member of the Veterans of World War II, the American legion, and the V.F.W.

Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Clover Roller, Protection and a brother, Ernest of Wichita.
