Mrs. A. J. Denny died the first of the week at her home in Sun City, Kans., after an illness of about two week's duration and which resulted from a paralytic stroke. The body was brought to this city and laid to rest on Thursday in the Coldwater cemetery, after funeral services had been conducted at the M. E. church, the pastor, Rev. W. M. Austin, being in charge.Arminda Baker was born in Tyner, Ind., on May 30, 1852. Her age at the time of her death was 69 years, 5 months and 28 days. She was united in marriage with A. J. Denny in Iowa on December 25, 1869. Later, Mr. and Mrs. Denny moved to Texas, where they lived for a few years. About 13 years ago they came to Coldwater and made this their home until a little over five years ago, when they moved to Sun City. Mrs. Denny was a devout christian woman, a kind neighbor and a faithful wife and mother. Her church membership was with the Seventh Day Adventists. She is survived by her husband and by one step-son, V. V. Denny of this city and by two step-daughters - Mrs. A. F. Baker of Sun City and Mrs. C. E. McDonald of Lake City. The sympathy of all goes out to the bereaved relatives.
