Monday, J. M. McCay filed in the probate court information of lunacy against Hugh Dorsett, a young man about 24 years of age, residing in Logan township.

Young Dorsett lives with his parents and has been subjected to frequent spells of insanity since a severe case of brain fever of a few years ago. Monday he became unruly and upon the advice of his father, Mr. McCay came to town and filed the information.

Tuesday the young man was brought before the court and the following jury impaneled: Dr. J. S. Halliday, Dr. G. G. Langhead, J. A. Jarnagin, L. A. Noel, J. W. Porter and Walter Meers, whose verdict declared him insane, resulting from brain fever. An application for admission to the state asylum was made, and Thomas Dorsett appointed guardian with J. M. McCay and J. S. Halliday as sureties.
