Nescatunga Enterprise, January 13, 1887.

Public Drunkenness

Wednesday some parties, (we will refrain from mentioning names) got on a regular high lonesome, made considerable noise, and indulged in low vulgar language, insulting to ladies who were compelled to pass along the street. Such actions are to say the least disgusting. If men must make a pack of fools out of themselves in such a way, they would do the public a favor, if they would take a bottle of rot gut; lock themselves in a room and have the fun all to themselves.
