The Western Star, February 6, 1920.

DEATH OF GEO. E. EDMONDS

George Edward Edmonds, a son of D. F. Edmonds of this city, died on Thursday, January 29, 1920, in Pueblo, Colo. His home was in LaJunta, but he had gone to Pueblo for better medical treatment. Burial was made in LaJunta, the funeral services being conducted from the Edmonds home by Rev. Warner of that city.

Deceased was born in Comanche-co. on March 25, 1881, and at the time of his death was 38 years, 8 months and 4 days of age. He lived in this county nearly all of the time before going to Colorado. About 14 years ago near Freedom, Okla., he was united in marriage with Miss Dora Melton, who, with five children, 3 boys and 2 girls, survive him. He is also survived by his father, five sisters and four brothers. Two of the sisters - Mrs. Geo. W. Crites and Mrs. V. K. Blackard - are still residents of this city. George was a good citizen, honest and industrious, and his death brings sadness to many old time friends here.
