Mrs. Harrison P. Fisher of Brenham, Texas, and a former resident of Coldwater, was killed instantly in June 27 when the car in which she was riding missed the bridge just north of Meade and landed in a creek.

Funeral services were held in the Meade Methodist church on July 1 with Rev. John W. Carrier officiating. Burial was in the Graceland cemetery near Meade.

Obituary

Florence Estella Herron was born October 12, 1875 in Plymouth, Ind. At the time of her death she was 76 years, 8 months and 15 days of age. In 1889 she moved to Nebraska and was united in marriage with Harrison P. Fisher in 1894.

To this union three children were born - Earl Fisher of Meade, Kans., Raymond Fisher of Omaha, Nebr., and Mrs. Ralph Coleman of El Campo, Texas.

In 1902 they moved to a claim two miles south of the Kansas - Oklahoma line south of Coldwater. Mr. Fisher went to Coldwater and opened a music store and four years later the family moved to this city, where the business was operated for nine and one-half years.

In 1910 they moved to Providence City, Texas; in 1920 they moved to El Campo, Texas, and in 1925 the Fishers moved to Brenham, Texas, where Mr. Fisher owned a broom factory and where they continued to make their home.

Surviving are her husband, and three children; also two brothers, Joe Herron of Protection, Kans., Vel Herron of Elk City, Okla., and four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
