On Friday at three thirty p.m. at the Baptist Church was held the last sad rites of Grandpa Frost and the body was afterwards laid to rest in the Protection Cemetery and while we deeply sympathize with the loved ones he left behind we rejoice that the dear old man has gone home to Jesus where he can suffer no more pain or sorrow, and where the loved ones will meet him if they put their trust in Jesus.He has been faithful to his family and the grandchildren left to him several years ago. And was kind and gentle to all. He has been a sufferer at times for many months but was always brave and patient.
We were glad to see him able to be back in his corner at church where he ever met us with a gentle smile and loving hand clasp. And he will be sadly missed from his corner.
He was the quiet religion, always glad to hear God's word and always there when able.
He has been allowed to live to a ripe old age and to lead a busy and useful life.
His unselfish and loving deeds will ever be remembered by those he loved and served.
His living has helped to make life brighter and his going had drawn us closer to God. Not one word of unkindness have we ever heard spoken of Grandpa Frost.
He has borne the "Cross" surely he will wear the crown.
We can only sympathize with the bereaved family, but God can wipe away all tears and build them a home not made with hands. Eternal in the Heavens.
Resting in peace dear friend we leave thee
To await the call of the last Great Day;
Then may it be our lot to greet thee,
When we've trod the length of the Narrow Way.A Friend.
