Ernst Loy Gordon

Ernst Loy Gordon, 74, died April 2, 1988, at St. Frances Hospital, Wichita. Born June 6, 1913, in High Point, N. C., he married Wynelle Hubbard July 6, 1934, in Kanapolis, N. C. She died in 1987.

Gordon was a retired Santa Fe Railroad employee and a Wilmore resident since 1949. He was a member of the St. James Episcopal Church in Wichita.

Survivors include: two daughters, Myrna Barbee Landis, N. C., Jewel Calhoun, Highland, Md.; three sisters, Jewel Miller, Ida Clark and Pearl Wagner, all of Kanapolis, N. C.; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren.

Memorial service was Tuesday, April 5, at St. James Episcopal Church, Wichita. Graveside service was Tuesday at Wilmore cemetery, Wilmore, with Hatfield-Prusa Funeral Home of Coldwater in charge.

Memorials may go to the American Cancer Fund.
