The Western Star, January 30, 1920.

INFANT DAUGHTER DIES

Doris May Hadley, aged 6 months and 27 days, and infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Morton Hadley, died shortly after noon on Thursday of last week, January 22, 1920, at the Hadley home 11 miles northwest of this city, after an illness resulting from an attack of whooping cough, followed by pneumonia. Funeral services were conducted at the home at 11 o'clock a.m. on Friday and were in charge of Rev. J. D. Handy of the Methodist church. Quite a large number of the neighbors were present and accompanied the remains to the Coldwater cemetery, where burial was made. Little Doris was a lovable child, and her death at so tender an age brings to all the relatives and friends a very keen sense of sorrow, yet "God's will be done" is the consecrated thought in all hearts. Mr. and Mrs. Hadley have the sincere sympathy of many friends in their deep affliction.
