The Western Star, June 10, 1904.

A.R. Holder

A. R. Holder, whose sickness we mentioned last week, died about 1 o'clock on Friday morning in his room at the St. Nicholas hotel. He had been sick only a few days. The cause of his death was a series of severe epileptic strokes, caused, it was thought, by indigestion. Mr. Holder had lived in this part of the state for about 13 years, working for various parties in this county, in Barber-co and in Woodward-co. He owned a claim in Woodward co. and had been living on it for some time past. He had no relatives in this part of the country. A sister in Kentucky was the nearest relative, but she could not be found by telegraph up to the time of the funeral. Burial was made in Coldwater cemetery. Rev. J. J. Bagsley of the Presbyterian church conducted brief funeral services at the cemetery.
