Frank B. Horton

Frank B. Horton, 82, died Aug. 9, 1996 in Wichita.

He was born Mar. 12, 1914 in Stillwater, Okla.

After two tours with the U. S. Navy, he and his wife, Frances, established the Horton Furniture Store in Wichita and at the time of his death, both were actively engaged in managing his various enterprises.

He was an enthusiastic hunter golfer and for several years raised Beefmaster cattle.

Horton was an avid pilot and he donated the land for the Comanche County Airport.

He is survived by his wife, Frances, of Wellington.

Funeral services were held at the Argonia Friends Church, Argonia, Monday, Aug. 12, 1996.
