Vernon Huck Retires From School Board

Vernon Huck, long time member of the Board of Education, retired from the Board of the Unified School District No. 300.

In a letter dated March 6, 1967, Mr. Huck stated "I have enjoyed working with the members of the Unified Board and also the 20 years that I have served on other Boards of Education and in the interest of education in Comanche county." Mr. Huck stated further that he wanted to be considered a friend of the Board and of the schools of the county and would be eager to help in any way possible.

The Board of Education will be required by state law to appoint someone to fill the unexpired two year term of Mr. Huck.
