A. J. Hulsy, aged about 62, died on Monday, July 6, 1925, at his home in Brea, Calif., after an illness of a few weeks, resulting, it was thought, from injuries received on the body a year or so ago while he was working about an engine and pump in the California oil fields. He suffered a hemorrhage of the lungs shortly before he died.

Mr. Hulsy and his family lived in this county for several years prior to 1915, when they moved to California. While here Mr. Hulsy worked for some time for S. A. DeLair, and later the family lived on a farm about four miles southwest of town. It would be difficult to find a more trustworthy man, or a more honorable, honest and upright citizen than was Jack Hulsy. His passing away brings a keen sense of regret and of sorrow to many Comanche-co. friends.

Mr. Hulsy is survived by his wife and two daughters - Mrs. Lloyd Sunderland of this county and Mrs. Eula Hulsy-Simmons of Brea, California. One daughter, Mina, died at the age of three. Mrs. Husly is a sister of Mrs. A. R. Richardson, who lives northwest of this city. The sincere sympathy of all goes out to the bereaved relatives.
