W. J. Jackson, formerly a resident of Coldwater and county attorney of Comanche-co., but for several years past a resident of Norman, Okla., was married a few weeks ago in Norman, but the sad news come of the sudden death of his young bride while Mr. and Mrs. Jackson were visiting in Indiana. We quote from a Greenfield, Ind., exchange of last week as follows:

"The saddest wedding tour ever recorded in this paper is that began two weeks ago by Mr. and Mrs. Wm. J. Jackson at Norman, Okla., where they started on a visit with Mr. J's relatives in this city and county. They arrived here two weeks ago Wednesday and were guests of U. S. Jackson and family for several days and then went to the home of another brother, Jesse Jackson, in Knightstown, when the bride of two weeks was taken ill of hemorrhage of the stomach and bowels, and although physicians labored to save her life, they failed, and death came Friday evening. Mr. Jackson will leave tonight at 10 o'clock over the Pennsylvania with the body of his bride to the home she left so happy a few days before. Mrs. Jackson was 25 years old and was Miss Emma Williams. Her husband formerly lived in this county, but had been in the West for several years."
