Nescatunga Enterprise, May 14, 1887.

Married

JONES- MERRIAM - At the residence of I. Z. Merriam, the bride's father, Apr. 26, 1887, by Rev. Henry Coleman, Mr. Charles M. Jones, of Nescatunga, Kansas, with Miss Maud C. Merriam, of Whitewater, Wis.

The happy couple left on the five o'clock train for a wedding tour, visiting friends in Dubuque and Kansas City, thence to their home 1,100 miles distance. A large concourse of friends gathered at the depot and gave them a hearty send off. Mr. Jones is cashier of the bank in that growing town, and his bride's well known activity and talent in all christian endeavor will greatly aid him in the support of the Christian institutions of the place and the law which makes his state so famous. -- Whitewater (Wis) Register.
