Mabel M. Justus

Mabel M. Justus, 79, died Oct. 9, 1986 at Humana Hospital, Dodge City. She was born Sept. 11, 1907 to Isaac and Mary Conley in Cleveland, Ohio.

Mabel attended Cleveland Bible College where she was both a student and later, a teacher. She taught Christian Living, preached the Lord's Word and also worked taking care of the elderly at Fredenecka Manor in National City, Calif. She retired from nursing in 1965.

Mabel loved her Lord and lived her life by His words. She wrote beautiful poetry and most of her poems were about Jesus. Job was her favorite chapter of the Bible. Her favorite verses: "The Lord who gives may take away, Oh, Blessed Be the Lord," "Though God should slay me dead, I'll still believe in Him."

Mabel moved to Wilmore about Sept. 1980 where she resided until June of 1984 when she moved to Prairie Plaza in Coldwater. She attended the Christian Church in Coldwater. She was a wonderful Christian woman and saw good in all whom she met and always had a big smile for all.

She is survived by her only daughter, Loretta J. Lowe, and three grandchildren, all of Coldwater.

Mabel M. Justus is buried in the Wilmore Cemetery.
