The Wilmore News, March 26, 1940.

ALVIN KIRK DIES

Alvin Kirk who lived several miles west of Wilmore, passed away last Wednesday, March 19th. He spent 18 months in France during the World War, and has not had good health since, having been afflicted with a heart ailment, and most of the time for the past two years had been confined to his bed. Funeral services were held at the Methodist Church in Coldwater with burial in the Protection cemetery.
