Obituary - Mrs. Sarah Laselle

From last week's Medicine Lodge Index.

Mrs. Sarah Laselle was born at Nashville, Tenn., in 1852, and died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W. G. Brew, in Medicine Lodge, August 12, 1920.

Mrs. Laselle left her native state when about nine years of age and went to Missouri, where she lived until coming to Kansas a few years ago. She has been a Christian since childhood, having been a member of the Baptist church until coming to Kansas, when she united with the Christian church at Coldwater, and was a member there at the time of her death. Mrs. Laselle's daughter being sick, the funeral services were held at the cemetery on Thursday, August 12, conducted by Rev. T. S. Stauffer of the Christian church.
