Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Lohrding returned home Tuesday of this week from the Marana Air Force Base at Tucson, Ariz., where they attended the graduation exercises of their son, second lieutenant Curtis Lohrding, who had completed a six months course of primary pilot training on February 11. Curtis accompanied his parents on a eight days delay enroute before reporting to the Webb Air Force Base at Big Springs, Texas, where he will take five and a half months of basic pilot training, flying jet planes.

Curtis, a graduate of the Coldwater High School, received his degree from Kansas State College, Manhattan, in 1954, majoring in Animal Husbandry; also his commission as a second lieutenant in the Air Force.

Before coming to Tucson, Mr. and Mrs. Lordhing visited with relatives in northern California and with Mr. and Mrs. Claude Thompson in Las Vegas, Nev. Mrs. Thompson is Raymond's aunt.
