Ricky Vern Lowe

Funeral for Ricky Vern Lowe of Coldwater is scheduled tomorrow: Friday, January 27.

He died on Sunday, January 22, 1995, at St. Francis Regional Medical Center in Wichita. He lived to the age of 50 years.

Lowe was born in Dade County, Florida, on September 7, 1944. His parents were Leroy and Dorothy Krings Lowe. He was a salesman and had lived in Coldwater since 1980, moving there from Derby.

He was a member of the Coldwater Christian Church. Rickey was a U. S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War.

On January 12, 1965, he married Loretta Jackson at San Diego, California. She is among his survivors.

Other survivors include two sons, Brain and Eric, both of Coldwater; two daughters, Amy Lowe of Coldwater and Terry Wages of Dodge City; his father, of Florida; several brothers and sisters, and two grandchildren.

Funeral is set for 2:00 p.m. Friday at Hatfield-Prusa Funeral Home in Coldwater, with the Rev. Jack Wingate officiating. Burial will be in the Wilmore cemetery.

Friends may call today (Thursday) and from 9 a.m. to noon Friday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be sent to the American Heart Assn., or to the Nordic Foundation, both in care of the funeral home.
