Marion Rowe McKinley, son of William and Edith McKinley, was born July 5, 1880 at Twin Mound, Kansas. He departed this life at the Haviland Rest Home early Tuesday morning, January 24, 1961 at the age of 80 years, 6 months and 19 days.

Funeral service was held Thursday, January 26, in the Hatfield Mortuary at Coldwater with interment in Crown Hill Cemetery near that city.

He lived most of his life in Haven and Hutchinson, Kans., coming to Protection in September, 1950. He was a member of the Congregational Church at Haven, Kans.

In 1906, he was united in marriage to Miss Tenna Hudspeth. To this union was born two sons and one daughter.

He was preceded in death by his father, his mother, two brothers, Delmar and Frank, and his wife, Tenna.

He leaves to mourn his passing, his sister, Mrs. Gertrude Horner of Protection, Kans.; his daughter, Mrs. Viola Smidt of Whittier, Calif.; his sons, Elvin of Bismarck, North Dakota, and Jennings of Lawrence, Kans.; and four grandchildren.
