The Protection Post, December 4, 1980.

Obituary: RALPH HART MOORE

Ralph Hart Moore died at home November 27, 1980. He was born February 11, 1909 at Spivey, Kansas. The family lived in Montezuma when Ralph was an infant, then moved to their farm north of Protection when he was four years old.

Ralph and Stella Mae Eubank were married in Kinsley on February 21, 1935. They lived in Chase five years then moved to their farm south of Protection where Ralph became established as a hardworking successful farmer. He was a member of the Protection Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Myrtle and Allen, brother, Paul, infant daughter, Joan Myrtle, and grandson Cletis Glen.

Survivors include his widow; daughter, Karen Jarnagin, her husband Gary, and their children Annette, Kris, Gwen of Protection and Tina Brawner of Buffalo, Okla., his son Glen, wife Nancy and their daughters, Tiffany, Tacy, and Tonya of King George, Va.; one sister Gladys Loesch; two brothers, Russel and Merton all of Protection.

Ralph loved his family and will be greatly missed by them and his friends. All of us who loved him have an important part of our lives taken away that will never be replaced. Although time will slowly heal our pain, our memory and love for him will never diminish.

Memorial services were held Monday afternoon at 2:00, December 1, 1980 in the Baptist church, Protection. Rev. Thomas Norman officiated at the service assisted by Zella Shrauner, organist, and Charlotte Cook who sang.

Nephews of the deceased were pallbearers, Gary Moore, Jack Loesch, Gene Loesch, Jim Moore, Warren Lee Moore, and Cleon Parkin.
