"May I write, not an obituary for my grandmother, but an eulogy to her? God has been good to us as a family, having granted a long span of life to Jane Brown Morris so that she was able to bless her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. For this may we all be grateful this day. Through sorrow or joy we each know that she would stand and stand she did, even though we at times would fail her. It is a time of sadness today for us as we realize our loss, but as the days pass we know that which made us love her as a mother, a grandmother and a great grandmother will live within us. Her body will be gone, yes, but that which she gave to us will remain, and may each of us now breathe a little prayer that we may be worthy to some day again hear her say, "Come in, come in and sit down." -- Contributed.
