Sandra Elaine Murphey

INFANT DAUGHTER OF MR. AND MRS. HAROLD MURPHEY DIES

Funeral services for Sandra Elaine Murphey, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold I. Murphey of Coldwater, were held Monday afternoon, July 4, at the Methodist Community Church in Protection. Mrs. Murphey became suddenly ill last Monday and was rushed to St. Anthony hospital in Dodge City where a Caesarian was performed. Mrs. Murphy is recovering from the operation but the child was dead when the operation was performed.

Rev. Paul F. Holmes conducted the service, assisted by Rev. Carter of the Coldwater Methodist Church. Mrs. Luella Peacock Wright sang "God Will Take Care of You," accompanied by ______ (name omitted from article).

Interment was made in the Protection cemetery beside Mrs. Murphy's parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Moore. The Peacock Mortuary was in charge of the service.

Mr. Murphy is county farm bureau agent with headquarters at Coldwater but was formerly a resident of Protection.
