Jeanell Myers

The Wilmore News, January 2, 1931.

YOUNG CHILD DIES

Jeanell, the 7 months old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H____ Myers, died at 3:40 o'clock a.m. on Friday of this week. She took sick with an attack of the flu and was taken in the Shelley offices hospital, where she died. Funeral services were conducted on Friday afternoon from the home of Dr. and Mrs. Shelley, in the eastern part of town, with burial in Crown Hill cemetery. Rev. C. C. Brown was in charge.

Jeanell was greatly endeared to all the relatives, and her passing will leave in the hearts of all a keen sense of sadness. To the bereaved relatives, the sincere sympathy of all now goes out. The parents live on the Beeley farm near Wilmore.

A precious one is gone from us,
A voice we love is stilled,
A place is vacant in our home
Which never can be filled.
God in his wisdom has recalled
The ____ His love had given
Although her voice is silent here,
Her soul is safe in heaven.
