Two weeks ago last Monday, B. F. Kocher the efficient teacher of our school, offered a prize to the scholar who could report the largest number of words by April 26th, containing only the letters found in the word NESCATUNGA. There were five contestants. The contest resulted as follows:Miss Grace E. McWilliams, 284;
Miss Nelia F. Roan, 281;
Miss Sarah Miller, 260;
Miss Nellie Wilkinson, 253;
Miss Grace D. McWilliams, 239.Miss Grace E. McWilliams having reported the largest number of correct words, was awarded the prize.
