MARRIED

NICKELL-ALEXANDER

At the home of the brides parents three miles south of Protection, Ks., on Sunday, August 11th, 1912 by Rev. Shields of the M. E. Church, Mr. Roscoe Nickell and Miss Pearl Alexander both of this vicinity.

The wedding ceremony which was one of the most beautiful and impressive of the season was performed at 6 P.M. in the presence of the immediate relatives. The bride wearing a beautiful gown of delicate blue satin, veiled with silk net also a beautiful wedding veil and wreath while the groom looked charming in his suit of conventional black. Miss Pearl is the oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Alexander who are known and highly respected all over Comanche Co. Mr. Alexander being one of our most successful farmers.

The bride is well known and highly respected having always made this County her home, she has won many laurels and is one of our most successful young teachers and the groom may well be proud of the treasure he has won. The groom, being a successful farmer and a young man of sterling quality has been in the vicinity for the past few years and during that time he has won an innumerable host of friends who wish him and his bride a bright and happy journey through life.

A bountiful supper had been prepared, which was heartily partaken of immediately after the ceremony.

Mr. and Mrs. Nickell will make Protection their home and be at home to their many friends.

"A Friend"

The Post joins the general well wishes and extends heartiest congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Nickell.
