OLLER TO REMAIN HERE
The Wilmore Telephone Exchange will be in the hands of a new owner within a short time. H. F. Bryant, a grain buyer from Haviland, Kansas closed a deal with A. C. Oller on March 30th, and Bryant will become owner of all the telephone equipment used in Wilmore and the various lines now operated by Mr. Oller, after July 1, 1927.In a conversation with a news reporter, Mr. Oller says he will remain in Wilmore and devote his time to the sale of Minneapolis and John Deere machinery. The telephone business needed so much of his time that he was not able to give enough attention to his other business.
Bryant has rented the Oller property now in use by the Exchange and his wife and two sons will move here to take charge of the business. More than 200 telephones and many miles of lines have been added to the Exchange in the past six years.
