Pearl Craig-Orr Dies in Topeka

Was Resident of Coldwater 20 Years Ago

Mr. and Mrs. W. Leslie Smith were called to Topeka last Saturday to attend the funeral on Monday of Mrs. Smith's sister, Mrs. Leslie F. Orr, who passed away in Stormont Hospital in that city on January 10. Death was due to a heart condition with complications. She had been in the hospital much of the time for several months.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on January 14 in the Wall-Diffenderfer mortuary in Topeka and burial was in Mount Hope cemetery.

Mrs. Pearl E. Craig-Orr, daughter of the late Mrs. T. E. Osman of Coldwater, was born in Esbon, Kans., February 15, 1898, and at the time of her death was 53 years, 10 months and 28 days of age.

Before moving to Topeka 18 months ago, she lived in Salinas, Calif., from 1923 to 1950. Previously she had resided 20 years at Coldwater, Kans., where she was graduated from high school in 1918.

She is survived by her husband, Leslie F. Orr, of Topeka; one son, Douglas F. Orr, of Salinas, Calif.; three daughters, Mrs. Herbert Miltz and Mrs. Rolin Nonneman of Salinas and Miss Connie Orr of the home; one sister, Mrs. Lois Smith, of Coldwater, Kans.; five grandchildren and many friends.

Mrs. Orr was a kindly and faithful wife and mother and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. The sorrowing relatives have the sympathy of all.
