The Protection Post, October 22, 1914.

OBITUARY

Lois Irene Osborne, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D. R. Osborne, was born at Protection, Kansas, July 22, 1912. She moved with her parents to Bailey, La. March 29, 1914. She died October 14, 1914, at 6:00 a.m., of acute inflammation of the bowels. Aged 2 years, 2 months and 22 days.

She took sick September 22, 1914 and was ill only 18 days.

The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Stuckler of the Beula Baptist Church. The remains were laid to rest in the Beula Cemetery.
