The Western Star, August 28, 1925.

DIED

Jack Cameron Parker, aged 6 months and 13 days, and youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Parker, who live about 26 miles southeast of this city, died at about 3 o'clock p.m. on last Friday, August 21, 1925, after an illness which began two days before. The little one had never been in robust health, but no apprehensions were felt in regard to his condition until a short time before his death.

Funeral services were conducted at the home on Friday afternoon, Rev. Ben Davis, the Methodist preacher at Wilmore, officiating. Burial was made in Crown Hill cemetery, near this city.

Little Jack was a bright, promising boy and had become especially endeared to the family. His passing away elicits the profound sympathy of all for the bereaved family. In their first hour of deep sorrow they have the assurance that God, who doeth all things well, is able to give comfort and peace to all who trust Him.
