MRS. PECK DIES

Funeral services for Mrs. Dora Peck were conducted Saturday afternoon at two o'clock in the Methodist church with the pastor Rev. Livengood in charge. A mixed quartet composed of Mrs. F. H. Moberly, Mrs. Grant Wright, Ray Bigbee and Roderick Baker sang three numbers, "Going Down the Valley," "The End of the Road" and "I need Thee Every Hour." Mrs. Nick Baker was accompanist.

Pall bearers were F. H. Moberly, C. O. Masterson, Lester Fry, Ollie Ward, Arthur Barber and Wm. McClary.

Burial was in the Coldwater cemetery. Sympathy is extended to the bereaved relatives.

Obituary

Dora Ann Peck was born at Glasgow, Kentucky, June 6, 1858 and died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lavinia Emerick, near Wilmore, Kans., at 8:35 A.M. on June 22, 1939 at the age of 81 years and 16 days.

As a young girl she lived in Evansville, Ind., and joined the M. E. church at Evansville, of which she has been a faithful member since that time. In 1881 she was married to John Peck who passed away at 1922. Since that time she has made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Emerick of Wilmore, who has been a devoted companion to her for the past sixteen years.

Besides the daughter, Mrs. Lavinia Emerick, she leaves to mourn, the following: a sister, Mrs. Mattie Miller of Inglefield, Ind., two brothers, Grant Rowland and Wade Rowland also of Inglefield, Ind., one niece, five nephews, several cousins and a host of friends.
