Obituary

Robert Wayland Pitman

Robert Wayland, infant son of Rev. and Mrs. F. Russell Pitman, was "still born" at 5:30 o'clock Sunday morning in the Ashland hospital. Brief and impressive services were conducted beside the grave in Wilmore Sunday afternoon by Rev. Al Joe Watters of Greensburg. Besides the parents, he is survived by one sister, Juanita Belle, and his maternal grandparents. Our Lord said : "Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not, for of such is the Kingdom of God."

Rev. and Mrs. Pittman and Juanita have the sympathy of the entire community in their sorrow.

Card of Thanks

We want our friends to know our very deep gratitude for every word of comfort and gracious act extended us on the day of our sorrow. We are especially grateful for all the flowers and sympathetic hearts beside the grave. Also we want to recognize the special assistance and consolation offered by Lester Larimer, Tom Pepperd, Lauren Ridge, Art Barber, Don Waters, Valtos Richardson, Mrs. Helen Barber, Mrs. Katherine Waters, Mr. and Mrs. Austin, Rev. Al Jo Watters, Dr. and Mrs. Burket and the hospital staff for efficient services dutifully rendered, and Mr. and Mrs. Perry Wall who gave us a grave site in their own family lot.
