The Western Star, April 20, 1920.

DEATH OF MRS. F. C. PRICE.

Mrs. Price, wife of Senator Francis C. Price of Ashland, died in a Wichita hospital on Tuesday morning of this week after an illness, caused by pneumonia and which lasted only five days.

The body was taken to Ashland on Wednesday for burial. Mrs. Price had been in Topeka with her husband during the recent session of the Legislature and was making a visit in Wichita with her daughters. Mrs. Frank L. Carson and Mrs. F. N. Cossman. At the time of her death Mrs. Price was about 60 years of age. She was a native of Ohio, but had lived in Kansas since soon after her marriage about 35 years ago. She was prominent among Kansas women and was much interested in social educational and political affairs. She was a member of the D. A. R., the Colonial Dames and of the Old Settlers Club of Ashland. Judge Price and the bereaved daughters have the sincere sympathy of many Clark and Comanche-co. friends.
