News of Sitka Community

Mr. Ralph Shipley, died at Humansville, Mo., Feb. 5. Mr. and Mrs. Shipley and family moved to Sitka in 1910 from Oklahoma at that time he run a livery stable. He later moved to Missouri, and was engaged in farming at the time of his death. Five children survive: Frank of Sitka, Jim of Texas, Ellsworth of Colorado, Arvella and Linnie of California.

Mrs. Ann Morrison passed away at her home September 3, after a short illness.
