Mrs. Anna A. Stanfield, 83, of Wichita, died Friday, February 22, in the care home where she resided.Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Monday at Broadway Mortuary, Wichita, with Rev. Harry H. Cunningham, pastor of Broadway Christian Church, officiating.
Burial was in the Protection Cemetery. Graveside rites, at 2:30 p.m., were conducted by the Rev. Hobart Young, pastor of the Protection Methodist Church, and the Protection Rebekah Lodge No. 491, of which Mrs. Stanfield was a member.
Mrs. Stanfield was born August 11, 1879, in Moris, Ill. She moved to Wichita from Protection about 35 years ago. She was a member of the Methodist Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Edna Davis, Mrs. Vivetta Bonham and Mrs. Myrtle Creamer, all of Wichita; five sons, Glenn and Walter of Wichita, Kans., Nelson of Lakewood, Calif., Marion of Klamath, Ore., and Albert of Protection, Kans.; 14 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William J., February 14, 1945; one daughter, Faye Bonham, April 30, 1960; and one son, Warren, April 24, 1962.
