On Monday of this week, Judith Diane Vance, the four day old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Vance, passed away in the Ashland hospital. The child had been ill since birth.

A brief funeral service was held at the home in Coldwater Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock and was in charge of the pastor, Rev. Geo. H. DeBoer. Burial was in Crown Hill cemetery. The sorrowing parents have the sympathy of all.

Mr. Vance, who had been called to enter service in the air corps at Kansas City on December 6, has been granted a stay and will be called later.
