The Protection Post, November 12, 1943.

List of Men Serving in the Armed Forces

Because of the heavy demand for last week's issue of The Protection Post exhausted the supply, the list of the men serving in the armed forces is being reprinted this week for the benefit of many who were unable to get extra copies last week.

These names have been placed on the service plaque which now hangs in the library or will be added soon.

Thanks to Shirley Brier for finding, transcribing and contributing the above news article to this web site! About the difficulty of transcribing this article from microfilm, she noted: "It's hard, with the original type face used, to tell u from n and C from G, and so on. The names were not in alphabetical order in the original published list."
