J. W. Maple is in Beaver county, Oklahoma, looking after his wheat crop in that vicinity. It is reported that he lost 60 acres of good wheat by fire.
Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Fry went to their home in Sedgwick this morning expecting to return Sunday. The wet weather the first of the week forcing them to stop threshing operations for the rest of this week.
