Above: THE SR'S. HOURBetween the 1st and the 12th
When school days go by so fleet,
There comes a name in the school's enrollment,
That is known as the Senior's Sweet. We hear in the gym above us,
The patter of little feet
We look in the door that is opened
And see Charlene tall and sweet. From the hall we see in the dim light,
Descending the narrow hall stair
Grave Marilynn, and laughing Barbara
And Carmen with golden hair.A whisper and then a silence
Yet we know by their merry eyes
John and Jim are planning together
To take us by surprise.A sudden rush from the stairway
A sudden raid from the hall
After three doors left unguarded
J. B. entered our school house walls. They climb the steps to the school house
O're the front and sides of the desk,
If you try to escape, they surround you,
They seem to be everyhwhere. She almost devours him with kisses,
His arms about her suppress,
Till we think of John T. and Marlene,
In his Mouse - Tower at G.H.S.Do you think, Ol' blue eyed Janie,
Cause you've scaled the school-house wall
Such an old joke as Dave L.
Is not a match for you all.Neta has him fast in her fortress,
And will not let him depart
But puts Skinner into the dungeon,
In the round-tower of her heart. And there we'll keep the Sr's, forever,
Yes, forever and a day
Till the walls shall crumble to ruin,
And molder in dust away..
