S/O Harry F. and Minnie May Ellis Baldwin. A lifetime area resident, he was a farmer and stockman. He graduated from Kingsdown High School in 1947, and attended Kansas State Teacher's College at Pittsburg.
He was a member of the Kingsdown Presbyterian Church, where he served as a Trustee and an Elder, a U.S. Navy veteran, receiving an honorable discharge on Aug. 4, 1949, was in the naval reserve for six years, and served on the Kingsdown School Board.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Baldwin; and a sister, Bebe Hunt.
