[From the Barnard correspondent] Last Thursday a son was born to Mr. John Ulsh. It weighed four pounds in a profusion of wraps. Its head has been fitted into a teacup, and a lady�s finger ring has been slipped over its hand onto its arm. This diminutive specimen of humanity is pert and hearty. [Sadly, this baby died a week later.]

It first saw the light of the day we completed our 79th year. When she reaches the age of 21 we will scarcely be a centenarian, but rather on the forgotten list. Sunday, June 14, 1896, at Pottersburg, Lincoln county, Kan., to E. Christianson and wife, a fine daughter. It was announced from the platform of the Radical Reform Christian Association after adjournment, by the president, who moved that the society adopt the child with the Chautauqua salute, which was done, and the name of Anna Lord was bestowed upon her then and there. It is not too much to hope that before this child is 21 years of age that all the reforms for which the R.R.C.A. stands will be fully established in this and all other Christian countries. � Anna C.
