Johnny "John" Kenneth Swinford, Jr., 52 died Thursday, October 25, 2007 at Kaw City, OK along side his brother Donald Swinford, doing what he loved best, fishing.He was born February 5, 1955 the son of John and Christine "Chris" (Alltizer) Swinford Sr. A resident of Sharon since 1980, he was a Rig Supervisor for Clarke Oil. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. On February 23, 1973 he married Vivian Lynn Hebensperger at Duncan, OK; she survives.
Other survivors include his father John Swinford Sr., Medicine Lodge, a son Jimi Keith Swinford, Medicine Lodge, sisters Barbara Swinford, Kellie Winchell, and Linda Kaiser, all of Medicine Lodge.
He was preceded in death by his mother Christine, and a brother Donald Swinford.
The funeral was Thursday, November 1, 2007, at First Christian Church, Medicine Lodge with Pastor Tom Walters officiating.
Burial was in Highland Cemetery, Medicine Lodge
