LEE ELZEA DIES

Francis Lee Elzea, 86, died Monday evening at the Pioneer Lodge in Coldwater where he had been a resident three weeks. Born January 1, 1879 at Vandalia, Mo., he lived in the Wilmore community over 50 years. He was a grain elevator operator.

He was a member of the Wilmore Baptist church.

Survivors include sons, C. C., Ozark, Ark.; Lester, Miami, Fla.; Harold Bragg, Wilmore; Lee Bragg, Guymon, Okla.; daughters, Mrs. Warren Day, Wilmore; Mrs. Roy Gore, Vandalia, Mo.; Mrs. Marjorie McKenna and Floyd Houser, both of Great Bend; sister, Mrs. Cora Fowler, Vandalia, Mo.; brothers Buell and James Elzea, Vandalia, Mo.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, in the Wilmore Baptist church with Rev. Aljoe Watters officiating. Hatfield Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.


Francis Lee Elzea is buried in the Wilmore Cemetery.
