Mrs. Mollie Hendrix Dies at the Age of 92

Funeral services were held in the Baptist church, Protection, Kans., on Friday, January 27, 1967 at 2 p.m., and were in charge of Rev. Floyd McCogue and Rev. Fred Gresham. Miss Charlene Faveau, Mrs. Zenna McCague and Mrs. Zella Shrauner sang "Safe in the Arms of Jesus" and "I Heard the Voice of Jesus Say," accompanied by Mrs. Marjorie Holler.

Pallbearers were Gerald Holler, J. B. Williams, Jerry Miller, Frank Lindsay, Gary Jamagin, and Morton Moore. Honorary pallbearers were Alva Morlan, Edgar Deck, Ralph Sangster, Harold Edmonston, George Herron and Clarence Nichols.

Interment was in the Protection Cemetery, Protection, Kans.

Obituary.

Mrs. Mollie Pearl Hendrix was born November 18, 1874 at Nashville, Tenn., and moved to Protection in 1920. She was a member of the Baptist church in Protection. She died Wednesday, January 25, 1967, at the Pioneer Lodge in Coldwater where she had been a resident since 1964.

Survivors include the following; Daughters, Mrs. Anna Middleton, Ranger, Wash.; Mrs. Jewell Minton, Wichita; Mrs. Roxi Totten, Bristow, Okla.; a son, Joy, of Protection; a brother, Ambrose Trott, Hollister, Mo., and 14 grandchildren.
