FUNERAL SERVICES HELD HERE SATURDAY
FOR MOORE BABY

Funeral services were held at the Baptist church Saturday afternoon for Joan Moore, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Moore of Chase, Kansas with Rev. Paul Barker in charge. Joan died suddenly at her home Friday of quick pneumonia.

Mrs. Alva Shoemaker and Miss Maxine Miller sang two songs: "Tread Softly" and "Safe in the Arms of Jesus." They were accompanied by Mrs. Mae Hopkins.

Mr. L. A. Peacock and Paul Barker were the casket bearers.

The following obituary was read.

The infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Moore, Chase, Kansas, born October 19, 1935 quietly slept away her little life February 7, 1936.

Joan Myrtle Moore, a tiny flame who glowed a little while before the alter of our life and then went out.

We wish to express our gratitude and appreciation to all our friends and relatives for their many deeds of kindness and sympathy during the death of our beloved daughter, Joan.

Joan Myrtle Moore is buried in the Protection Cemetery.
