Obituary: James Benjamin Wolf

James "Jim" Benjamin Wolf, 78, of Rogers, Arkansas, died April 15, 2001. He was born September 21, 1922, to Benjamin Earl and Maudie Grace Overocker Wolf. He was a veteran of WWII, serving 31 years in the Navy. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Zapeta, Texas, and was a Mason for many years. He started a Little League baseball program in Haysville, Kansas, and was a farmer in western Kansas.He worked for Cessna Aviation as a test pilot. He moved to Rogers in 1980 and was an avid golfer and outdoorsman.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Wolf of the home, to whom he was married July 23rd, 1967; three sons, James B. "Ben" Wolf of Davao, Phillipines, Clayton Prather of Mountainburg and Roy Prather of Caldwell, Ohio; two daughters, Anna Dell Smith of Kansas, City, MO, and Debbie Drummond of Rogers; two sisters, Eva Mae Angell of Leawood, Ks, and Belva Ray Jones of Chadd's Ford, PA; 10 grandchildren; two great grandchildren.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday and Coldwater (Kan.) United Methodist Church with the Rev. Kent Little presiding. Burial will be in the Crown Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday at the Hatfield Mortuary in Coldwater.
