BOOTH, Lester F. : December 3, 1908 - December 12, 1996
Son of Robert & Effie (Maltby) Booth; husband of Grace Booth.
His gravestone has a design with a lasso encircling his "3 Bar" cattle brand.

Grace Elaina Booth

Funeral is scheduled Friday at Greensburg for Grace Elaina Booth. She died on Tuesday, July 18, 1995, at the Wesley Medical Center in Wichita. Mrs. Booth lived to the age of 82 years.

She was born at Coldwater on December 11, 1912, and was the daughter of Charles and Blanche (Hall) Thompson. She grew up on a ranch southeast of Wilmore.

From 1931 to 1937, she lived on the Kiowa-Comanche county line. For the past 58 years, she lived on a farm southeast of Greensburg. She was a homemaker.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church, the Thimbleena Club, and the Royal Neighbors Lodge, all of Greensburg.

On August 17, 1931, she married Lester Fred Booth at Springfield, Colorado. He is among her survivors.

Other survivors include a son Donald of Belvidere; a daughter, Betty Jo Booth Dirks of Kampsville, Illinois; a half-brother, Richard Hall of Pratt; two half-sisters, Elsie Mae Evans of Denver and Helen Mizer of Wichita; six grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Violet Hale, in 1933.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the United Methodist Church in Greensburg with the Rev. Lawrence Lambert officiating. Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. today (Thursday) at Fleener Chapel in Greensburg. Burial will be in the Wilmore cemetery.

Memorials may be sent to the church, in care of the funeral home.
