Death Comes to Jean Hackney

Mrs. Phyllis Jean Hackney died at the Comanche County Hospital in Coldwater in early morning of Tuesday, December 9, 1975. Mrs. Hackney was born June 22, 1931 at Haviland, Kans., and married Robert D. Hackney on May 6, 1951 at Hazelton, Kans. They moved to the Wilmore community in 1951 after their marriage. She was a member of the Wilmore Federated church and the Bible Study Club of that city. Mrs. Hackney is survived by her husband, Robert; two sons, James Lane and Robert Lynn of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Bobbi Huck of Coldwater, Kans., and Mrs. Beverly Malone of Amarillo, Texas; mother, Opal Harris of Greenburg, one brother, Lester of Larned, and a sister, Mrs. Bill Bryant of Beloit, Kans.

Funeral arrangements are being made by the Hatfield Funeral Home of Coldwater. Services will be at the Wilmore Federated church in Wilmore, Kans., on Thursday afternoon of December 11, 1975 at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. William McFall officiating. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery in Coldwater, Kans.
