MRS. TANT HACKNEY, OF FREEDOM, DIES

Mrs. Tant Hackney, 81, of Freedom, Okla., passed away recently. Funeral services were held on Sunday, August 22, in the Methodist church in Freedom. Rev. E. W. Lambert of the Church of God of Alva officiated.

Graveside services were held at 4 p.m. Sunday at Crown Hill Cemetery in Coldwater where she was buried beside her husband who died in 1952.

Mrs. Hackney is an aunt of Bill Hackney and Ardinell Kuster.

Among those attending the funeral at Freedom were Mr. and Mrs. Frank Adams, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Hackney, Mr. and Mrs. W. Kuster, Mr. and Mrs. Phil Hackney, George Hackney, all of Coldwater, and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Hackney of Wichita.
